Metro Computer Group was started in 2005 as a small business consulting service. However, the marketplace has drastically
changed and we invited the best in the business to the table to combine experience and created a new trend. A group of service
oriented professionals who work together, to provide the Greater Detroit area with the best service & pricing on computer services.

Our first retail store was opened in Eastpointe, MI in 2009. Our second store is planned to open in July 2011 in Royal Oak, MI with four more
planned to open by the end of 2012. Our main goal is unbeatable prices and quality. If you are interested in a no fee franchise

Our Story

Metro Computer Group was created as a result of consumer frustration with the big box retail stores and lack of real value in computer repair and services sector. Unfortunately, the only thing that consumers found at national retailers were sloppy technicians, sub par quality of work and in the worst case, complete loss of their equipment and data. Just read some of the 100,000+ nightmare stories that Internet users have posted as to their services experience. Please note. Those stories are individual opinions and in no way were created, influenced or controlled by us. 

In addition, the economics of $300 computer repair bills are simply not viable or reasonable. With new, entry level machines that can be built or bought  for under $500 dollars, it makes no sense to charge outrageous fees to service them.  As a result of all of the above, a team of seasoned  Microsoft & Cisco IT professionals, developed a viable business plan, and created "The Metro Computer Group" in 2005. We are IT Managers, Computer Technicians and Network Engineers who spent most of their careers working for the biggest names in the IT Industry. Our combined expertise in this dynamic marketplace, as well as countless years of expert service is what puts "The Group" one notch above the rest. In March 2009, after years of consulting and steady growth, we have decided to establish a retail presence in the marketplace and open our first retail service center, specializing in consumer and small business computer services. At this time we are in final stages of opening another location, serving the West region of the Metro Detroit Area, right along the Woodward corridor with plans to open up four more this year alone.

Our Technical Labs
Both of the locations have two top notch, fully equipped technical labs that allow our technicians to perform their
work faster, better and more efficiently. The high level of efficiency as well as extensive training and the right tools
is the reason why we can afford to keep our prices so low. But with volume, we don't cut corners on individual attention.
We will do everything within reason to take our time, to explain, show you, and guide you through the repair process.
In fact, we are the only company in town that not only allows, but encourages customer's presence in the tech lab
which improves our relationship and leads to better quality of service. How's that for different? And for a change,
we don't speak geek! We make sure our service techs are people who communicate well. Try to find that elsewhere.
